• TIME AND LOCATION OF WORSHIP SERVICES

  • Our worship service is located at 275 Shiloh Crossing in Avon (Behind Best Buy and beside the Movie Theater). Services begin at 10:30am.

• WHAT ARE SERVICES LIKE?

  • While we come from diverse backgrounds and circumstances, we believe the gospel is good news for everyone. In light of this, our Sunday gatherings are designed to bring the gospel to bear on each and every one of us at the point of our need. Each week we sing, pray, and teach from the Bible. Our goal is not to manufacture a particular feeling or experience, but to come face to face with the truth of who Jesus is and what he's done. As we do this, we pray that we will be deeply affected and that our lives will be transformed for his glory and the good of our city.
     

  • Music – Whether we sing something contemporary, an original song by one of our worship leaders, or a classic hymn, we believe that music should be done well and have God as its focus.
     

  • Sermon – Our pattern is to go through books of the Bible. We do this primarily because we believe the Bible is best understood when each verse is seen within its proper context, as the biblical authors intended. Occasionally we step out of this rhythm and spend a season on a certain topic, theme  or group of Scriptures, however we believe that preaching verse by verse helps us to engage all of the Scriptures while preventing us from picking a soap box or avoiding difficult passages. Each week we will examine a text and learn what God is teaching us about himself and how we are to live.

• HOW LONG IS A WORSHIP SERVICE?

  • A normal service usually lasts about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

• HOW SHOULD I DRESS?

  • Come just as you are. God’s concern is the heart. You will find worshippers dressed jeans, slacks, shorts, and suits.

​

• HOW DO I FIND MY WAY AROUND?

  • You will be greeted as you pull into the parking lot and as you walk through the front doors. At the Welcome Desk you will find answers to all your questions, and there is ample signage around the building to assist you in finding where you need to go.

• IS THERE A CHILDREN’S PROGRAM?

  • Yes! Please see our City Kids page for more info on our offerings for children.

• ARE MY CHILDREN SAFE?

  • Every staff member and volunteer in the children's ministry is background checked, and we maintain a strong ratio of adults to children so that your child is safe and valued.  

​

• CAN MY CHILD OR NEWBORN JOIN ME IN THE WORSHIP SERVICE?

  • Absolutely!  We love to see our families worshipping side by side.
